The second issue of "Wordsmith's Pen" for Fall 2015-16 semester was opened for display on 16 September 2015 on Level 9 of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Building in presence of the Head of the Department of English, M Hamidul Haque, faculty members, writers and students. "Wordsmith's Pen", which is basically a students' platform for presenting the creative writings written by the young writers from different departments of AIUB, was launched on 25 March 2015 under the supervision of Department of English. The editorial panel comprises: Sheikh Mobasher Ahmed, Samrin Zaman Bushra and Tania Akhter, students of the Department of English who worked under the direct supervision of Asif Kamal, Assistant Professor, Department of English, AIUB.
Students are invited to send to the following email address their write ups: poems, short stories or even book reviews or criticisms (in not more than 500 words) with name, ID# and Department for the 3rd issue to be published in Spring 2015-16:
