On the 14th of February 2019, the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) held a Milad Mahfil, in honor of the Late Hasna Abedin, the Founder and Former Chairperson, on the occasion of her 2nd Death Anniversary. Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, the Vice Chancellor, Ms. Nadia Anwar, the Founder Member and the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Hasanul A Hasan, the Treasurer, Founder Member, and the Vice President for HR & Administration, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, the Founder Member and Vice President of International Affairs & Public Relations, other members of the Board of Trustees, along with the Deans, Directors, faculty members and administrative officials all came together to pray for the departed soul.
