The AIUB Inter College Basketball Championship 2025 officially commenced on February 16, 2025, at the Sports Field of American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). The opening ceremony was graced by Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Manzur H Khan, Proctor; Dr. Ziarat H Khan, Deputy Director, Student Services and Welfare; and Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, along with students, faculty members, and administrative officials.
Organized by the AIUB Office of Sports, in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, the championship serves as a premier platform for inter college basketball competition. This year’s tournament features twelve participating institutions, showcasing outstanding skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. To enhance accessibility and audience engagement, all matches are being streamed live on the AIUB YouTube Channel and the official Facebook page of the Office of Sports, AIUB.
The four-day tournament will culminate in the highly anticipated grand finale on February 19, 2025, marking the conclusion of an intense and exhilarating competition. With the championship title at stake, excitement continues to build as teams vie for supremacy in one of the most prestigious inter college sporting events of the year.
