The Orientation Program of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) for newly enrolled students of Undergraduate and Graduate programs of the Spring Semester 2017-2018 was held on January 22, 2018 at AIUB permanent campus, Kuril. The Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna chaired the orientation program and gave her valuable speech for newly admitted students. Deans of the four Faculties, Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain (Vice President, Academics and Dean-in-Charge, Faculty of Science and IT), Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam (Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) and Mr. Pius Costa (Registrar) also spoke on this occasion. Mr. Manzur H Khan, Director of Student Affairs welcomed the new students and presented brief information, rules and regulation of the university. Department Heads, Directors, Teachers, student and guardians were present in the orientation program. The program ended with a cultural show performed by the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) and the renowned singer Minar, who is also a student of MMC department of AIUB. The orientation Program was organized by Office of Student’s Affairs (OSA), AIUB headed by Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder and Vice president of Student Affairs.
