AIUB students and faculty present at BSTQM Convention

While Ms. Shaila Ahmed presented an important paper on “Teaching English in Large and Under-Resourced Classrooms”, her students of Section A4 did their presentation on “Environmental Pollution”. The lively, informative presentation was widely acclaimed by all. The group was later awarded with certificates and crests. It needs to be mentioned that ‘English Reading Skills & Public Speaking’, which is a 1st semester General English course, comprise freshmen who are usually introvert and shy by nature and have no experience of public speaking in front of any kind of audience. In this regard, the success of this presentation will not only boost their spirits but also act as a big leap for them toward professionalism. The participating students were:
