American International University-Bangladesh's (AIUB) Photography Club organized the “Bangladesh Inter University Photography Exhibition-2013 (BIUPE-2013)”- 1st photography exhibition for all university students and faculty members of both Public & Private universities of Bangladesh. The Exhibition was held from 14th November to 18th November 2013 at the Dhaka Art Center, Dhanmondi. It showcased the works of amateur but creative photographers of the reputed Public and Private Universities of the country, reflecting their photographic skills. A total number of 81 selected photographs out of 2275 submission of 262 participants were displayed in the exhibition. AIUB Photography Club (AIUB PC) is a platform to encourage the young talented photographers of AIUB to use their creative skills, share their knowledge and participate in technical discussion and above all present their collective photographs through initiatives like this Exhibition at Dhaka Art Center (DAC). They reflected their views on their surrounding through the lens. This Exhibition was inaugurated on 14th November 2013 at 5.00 PM by Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, Vice President (Academics) of AIUB. On 18th November at 7.00 PM the Certificate Giving & Closing Ceremony was held. Mr. Ziarat Hossain Khan, Deputy Director, OSA, AIUB and the Honorable Judges & Curator of the Exhibition gave away the certificates among the participants and the winners in different category. AIUB Photography Club is indebted to Mr. Mishuk Ashraful Awal, Faculty of Patshala, Kudrod E Khuda (Conservative Photographer), Tanvir Murad Topu (Honorable Curator & Faculty of Patshala) for their support as the curator and judges of the exhibition. Faculty members, officials and Students of AIUB, visitors, representatives, from participating institutions, organizations and different print electronic media personnel were present at the exhibition.
