Computer Engineering (CoE) Student of AIUB awarded with the 'Thinkdemy Award for Design Excellence'

Initiated by Thinkdemy a cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing platform, ‘Rejected 2018 - Design Expo’ is a first-of-its-kind design expo in Bangladesh where design professionals, students and freelance designers had an opportunity to showcase their rejected or underappreciated works. The exhibition took place at Drik Gallery, Dhanmondi on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm where 37 designers from different backgrounds participated. There were over 50 submissions in eight categories. Among them Mr. Al Jubair Hossain (Student, Department of Computer Engineering (CoE), AIUB) became the winner in the Product Design category for his design titled Augmented Reality-Based Project. He received the winning prize from the honorable judge, Mr. Kashtan Habib (Creative Director, ADCOMM Ltd., Bangladesh) in presence of the other honorable judges Mr. Iftekhar Azam (Head, User Experience & Design, Boomerang Digital), Mr. Khaled Mahmud, (Originator of MIB) and Ms. Sharmin Rahman (Associate Vice President – Creative at Asiatic JWT). Mr. Al Jubair Hossain awarded with the 'Thinkdemy Award for Design Excellence' and will enjoy exposure through radio channel Dhaka FM 90.4, English daily The Daily Star, Thinkdemy’s Official Facebook Page and in the ‘Rejected’ Website.
