The Department of Public Health arranged an orientation program to welcome the MPH freshman students of spring 2015-16 batch at AIUB auditorium on the 30th January 2016.
The orientation program started with a video presentation where the students were shown a brief introduction of AIUB and various rules and regulations of the university. Dr. Md. Aurangzeb, faculty and also the coordinator of the program explained to the students about the importance of MPH for them and also about the necessity of maintaining a good grade.
This was followed by a brief session where the present and former students of the MPH program welcomed the freshers and explained their experience at AIUB. The class monitors of the freshers also expressed their expectations in this section.
The welcome speech was given by program advisor Prof. Dr. A.N. Ahmad Neaz and then followed by a speech from Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr. Charles C. Villanueva also addressed the students on this occasion.
The Department of Public Health gratefully acknowledges the generous support from the AIUB management to make this event successful.
The program ended on a high note with a question answer session coordinated by Dr. Md. Aurangzeb.
