Talk Show On “Bridge Building between Investors and the Capital Market – The Role of Merchant Banks in Bangladesh”

The Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA) jointly with the Department of Accounting arranged a talk show on “Bridge building between Investors and the Capital Market - The Role of Merchant Banks in Bangladesh”. This was held on 9th April, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the AIUB Auditorium. The speakers were: Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman, Managing Director, IDLC Investments Limited. Mr. Khairul Bashar Abu Taher Mohammed, CEO, MTB Capital Ltd. Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement and Alumni delivered the welcome speech and introduced the guests and underlined the importance of such programs for our students and moderated the talk show as well as the question and answer session with students and the guest speakers regarding different issues. A good number of interested students and faculty members were present during the program. At the end of the discussion, Mr. Md. Zakaria Masud, Head, Department of Accounting and Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement and Alumni presented Certificates of Appreciation and token of gratitude to the guest speakers.
