Monday 29 September 2014 The Department of Social Science, FASS, organized a seminar on “Current Economic Issues and Policy in Japan” on August 26, 2014 at AIUB Campus 7. The guest speaker of the seminar was Professor Seiichi Katayama, Aichi Gakuin University, Nagoya, Japan. Professor Hiroshi Ohta from Kobe University, Hiroshi Yoshimura from Yamaguchi University and Professor Toru Okamoto from Hitotsubashi University were also present in the seminar. Professor Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Science, started the ceremony with few words and thanked the honorable guests for their participation.
In his vote of thanks, Professor Dr. Charles C. Villannueva Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB, highlighted on the benefits of such seminars and handed over gifts to the speakers as a symbol of gratitude.
